LPG Gas Agency Office in India

The Government of India has taken vigorous steps in bringing the usability of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in every house in India. The Indian Government provides the LPG at subsidy rate for the consumers. The major LPG cylinder providers are Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited popularly known as Bharat Gas, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited popularly known as HP Gas, India Oil Corporation Limited, popularly known as Indane Gas.

Every family in India is eligible for one gas connection and any person who attain the age of 18 is eligible to apply for gas connection. The applicant who is applying for gas connection should approach his nearest gas agency and should furnish the required proof of documents along with the duly filled application form to avail the gas connection.

On successful completion of the procedure the household will be supplied with “one filled LPG cylinder”, “One Regulator”, “One Rubber Pipe”, “One Passbook”, “Certificate of Gas Connection”. It is not mandatory for the application to buy the “Cooking Stove” from the gas agency and it left with the choice of the customer.

  6. Any photo identification issued by the State Government

Proof of Address (Anyone of the following)

  1. Voter Identification Card
  2. Ration card
  3. Eelectricity bill (not more than three months old)
  4. Telephone bill (not more than three months old)
  5. Employers certificate
  6. Rent receipt (last two months)
  7. Flat allotment letter
  8. House registration papers
  9. Aadhaar Card
