- Commencement Certificate (Certificate issued by the municipal corporation if the construction has not begun)
- Completion Certificate (Certificate issued by the municipal corporation if the construction is already completed to ensure that building is constructed according to the approved plan)
- Occupation Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation.
- Encumbrance Certificate issued by concerned Sub-Registrar to ensure the property has not been mortgaged as security for any loan Tax receipt and bills (to ascertain whether any notices or requisitions relating to the property are outstanding by the municipal coroporation)

- Allotment letter from the builder/housing board
