How to Apply Aadhaar Card for Kids?

For enrolling an Aadhaar card for children the kids has to be taken to the enrollment center along with their parents so that the photograph of the child is captured by the enrollment office and then the parents or guardian should produce the birth certificate of the Child, Aadhaar card of the parent or guardian. The demographic details of the child will be linked to the parent or guardian aadhaar card and the Aadhaar card of the child will be issued within ninety days from the enrollment. Once the children reaches the age of five or above both biometric of fingerprint and iris scan will be taken, and when they reach fifteen years of age once again both the biometric of fingerprint and iris scan of the child should be updated.

Yes one can apply for Aadhaar Card when they do not have any sufficient proof of document, and this can be done by furnishing the family entitlement document where the head of the family member (HOF) and the name of the applicant details should exist in the family entitlement document.In such scenario the head of the family member (HOF) mentioned in the entitlement document should already been enrolled first by furnishing his proof of identity and address, following which the other family members can enroll based on the Aadhaar number of head of family.

Procedure to Apply Aadhaar Card without Proof of Document?

Head of the family member should accompany with the applicant for whom the Aadhaar card is to be applied.The head of the family member should then provide his “ORIGINAL PROOF OF DOCUMENTS” to the enrollment officer. The head of the family member proof of document should necessarily contain the name and details of the applicant for whom the Aadhaar card is to be applied. If the Aadhaar is to be applied for more than one person of the family, then the head of the family member should accompany each and every time with the applicant to the enrollment center or they can appear as a family together and they can get the enrollment for the all family member on a single visit to the enrollment center.
