Even though there are many streets in this district, the PWD officials quoted guideline values for 4,479 streets which are considered as very important in the locality. Based on this fair value, the SRO’s register the lands and adjoining properties. According to the Land Registration Dashboard in Tamil Nadu Registration website, the total application received by the officials is 73,572 and application approved by them is 73,001. Namakkal DRO is ranked 10 in terms of transactions.
As per source between 2012 and 2017, the guideline value of Namakkal Joint-II SRO, the guideline village names are Ward-B, Ward D, the street names are Rangar Sannathi Street, Kadai Veedhi, Thuraiyur Road, etc was Rs.5,000 which was reduced to Rs.3,350 from 9 June 2017 and displayed in the registration website. The PWD officials also increased the guideline value of some other streets and its surrounding areas.
