How to change PAN Card postal address

If you have changed your address or recently shifted to a new location, make sure to change the postal address on your PAN Card also. You can make changes in the PAN Card postal address by the filing PAN Change request form that available on the National Securities Depository Limited(NSDL).

• All the applicants who are willing to make changes in the Postal address by accessing the NSDL website.
• If there are errors in the application form at the time of submission, a screen will flash errors. So, it is a must for an applicant to make error-free submissions.
• If you want to make data changes that are already being available in PAN records, in that case, you will get an option to edit the details.
• If you want to add new information and replace the existing one like address; simply fill in the application form and add the new address.
• After performing these steps, the new postal address would be updated in the Income Tax Department database accurately.
• In case you have provided Aadhaar Card as an address proof, then share the Aadhaar details in the concerned PAN application form.

• If the postal address of the candidate is within India, only Rs 107 is required to pay which includes GST. The application will only be processed after the applicant makes a successful payment. Candidates can make payments using any mode such as debit card, credit card, Net banking, or by Demand draft.
• If your postal address is outside of India, in that case, charges for change in PAN Card postal address are INR 1017. As per the present status, PAN Card is only being sent to 105 countries.
• Payment modes acceptable are Credit card, Debit card, and Net Banking. If you are willing to make a demand draft for payment, it would be payable at Mumbai in favor of ‘NSDL PAN’.
• Anyone can process the payment like children, father, mother, HUF, company, partnership firms, or association of person, etc.
• If you have chosen the net banking mode for making payment, in that case, an applicant is liable to pay an extra surcharge of INR 4.00 as GST. The reason is accessing the payment gateway services.
• After making a successful payment, you will get an acknowledgment for making future references.

• Proof of an identity

Note: The applicant has to send the acknowledgment slip received for the change of PAN Card postal address to the postal address of NSDL Pune. It is a must for all those who are making payment via demand draft. Make sure it is reached within 15 days after the online application has been filled.
